Installing magnets for the cargo doors

My truck camper was built before RV manufacturers were using the little magnets to hold open the cargo doors. The clips were a nuisance to use, so I added magnets.

I used double sided tape to install them rather then drill more hols in the walls.

I also installed the magnetic catches and also used VHB tape. I prep the surface first with the 3M primer as well.

Interesting, I had to add some to our cabinents since the doors did not stay shut when moving. You can buy the magnetic latches tho and they are cheap, less than $1.50 each:
