In our travels we're seeing a number of "expanded" DGs with a respectable grocery selection. Herself can even buy her almond milk. Some of them are pretty good sized. Still don't have a fresh produce section but that's okay. They have coffee, bread, eggs, frozen pizza, canned goods, cereals even frozen dinners if that's your thing. The prices are competitive especially if using their online digital coupons.
Just sharing.

A couple of years ago we ran across a DG store with a green sign, not the typical yellow. Not sure, but believe it was called Dollar General Grocery. They were in the North Carolina/Virginia-ish area. Sure can't remember, but have ever since been searching/waiting for them to work their way west, if they're still viable.
Our 2351D Phoenix Cruiser, Jack, has turned us from campers into RVers and loving it!

Similar to Target devoting half of their local (to me) store to grocery. Sign of the times. Traditional food supermarkets and retailers continue to be in trouble.

Last year in the Florida panhandle area we found 2 or 3 Dollar Generals with fresh produce so, they do exist. This was the first time we had found this but, were pleasantly surprised.

When we spent last winter near Titusville Florida, we had a Dollar General next door to the RV Park we were at. It was great! Good sized grocery and freezer sections and the prices were good. We even bought a small Air Fryer there for $35 that was fine for the two of us.

Dollar General Marketplace is the one with a "full" grocery section. We have several around here in Florida.

That's great.
I'm happy they carry SPAM and BACON.
Herself is happy they have almond milk, eggs and other items.
I like the fact they have digital coupons that you can go to the website and download to your phone number. Then at checkout you enter your number and get the coupon credited. It's great to not have to cart around clipped coupons especially when we're on the road.

There are several in the Las Vegas, NV. area. They always have the cheapest Bud Lite for the Sin City area. Here in the Yuma, AZ. there aren't any DG Grocery stores but the regular DG stores have 15 pack 12 oz. Natural Light for $7.25.
