I stay hitched and use one of these instead of jacking.

If getting new tires I just tow it to the tire shop and have them deal with it.
Yes - getting new tires and considering hiring a mobile service to come out and change them. The last time I bought tires, I had a TT and towed it to the shop.

Buy a TrailerAid. Safe way to change tires and maintenance.

Seems like changing tires got morphed into buying new tires. I use an Andersen rapid jack to lift a wheel which requires motion from the truck to lift the trailer. Can't quantify it, but I wouldn't want to side load my landing gear.

I would say all Americans/Discount tire store had a large enough lot to take your 32’ 5er to get new tires. I my opinion way easier than taking one or two off at a time and running to the store.

ON EDIT: To your original question in red, yes hitch it up and take to the tire store!

If you have hydraulic jacks you from the all down bring the rear jacks so they will raise the rear of the trailer and thus wheels off the ground. Bring up only far enough so tire is off ground.

Our electric jacks will raise the wheels off the ground as well.

To get to just one wheel I drive the good tire on to blocks. It doesn't take much to get the other tire off the ground.

If it is hitched or unhitched.... If I need to change a tire, I change the tire. No need to mess with the hitch.

Yesterday, I called Discount Tire and got a price on the tires I want plus installation. I then looked for and found a mobile service that has the tire mounting machine and balance machine. Using them, I'm saving about 50 bucks on the total Discount Tire price, plus I don't have to hook it up and take it there.

And thanks for all those who suggested the Trailer Aid - I have one, but would rather hire this out.

Interesting does that include road hazard protection and nation wide service. Is the balancing machine a spin balance or bubble balancer.
