I have been searching for a couple days now, our slide out worked fine a couple days ago before leaving for a long trip, in my driveway it went in just fine to pack up trailer and leave. We get to our first stop after 8+hours driving and slide doesn't move out or in with button only manually. When I press the button, I hear a click on both in and out. Does this sound like a bad control board (the panel with the buttons we are pushing)?
I have another thread about rough roads in Oklahoma, I am thinking it may have to do with the shaking during travel?

Just went through this yesterday and it was a button in a slide side storage compartment. The buttons are to keep you from operating the slide while the doors are open. Hope this helps.

I would see if the drive motor is visible. If so maybe have someone toggle the button with a volt meter on the driver motor leads. No power, then it isn,t the motor.
Or put the leads on the batt posts and hit the switch. No big draw it probably isn.t the motor.

I've had this happen a couple of times on my "electric" slides. Both times, for an unknown reason, the brake lever on the motor had moved to the lock position. This lever is on the back of the motor and it will slide about a 1/4 inch to one side if pushed firmly. This unlocked the motor both times and the slide worked normally after that. After I ran the slide in and out a couple of times, I put the brake lever back into the original position. Otherwise, the slide would move out freely on its own. I hope I explained that right.

Well, I have looked everywhere for a switch in the slide cabinets but there is none. The motor is hidden above the underbelly cover so that will be a chore to check. I looked in under the sink at all of the wiring and the lci control board the wires go into was hanging by 1 loose screw so it makes me wonder if the wiring has been jostled around a bit. I will just take it to service to get fixed under warranty at this point, it needs to be adjusted too while they are at it.

You have it backwards. The LOCK TAB is supposed to be in the LOCK position. You UNLOCK the TAB to get the motor free to manually move the room or motor. If you have it in the UNLOCK position the motor is "free" and the room will creep out from fully retracted. Doug

My Jayco would do that sometimes when trying to open the slide. Called a repair place and they couldnt get us in for a week but said here is what you do. There was a access panel for the motor in the under belly and just take a 5/8 wrince and give the motor a couple of turns and wal-la it worked. Had it looked at several times and they would tell me nothing wrong but it would still fail every once in a while. Whet on like that for several years. One place I had it services and he actually fixed the problem. Never failed after that
