We are wondering if anyone has been to the Grand Ole Opry recently. We would like to visit in June, but we are unable to wear masks. To see a show, are masks required or just suggested? Thanks for any info.

I would contact the Opry and ask. Keep in mind that things may or may not change in June.

RV-less for now but our spirits are still on the open road.

I called and the gal said masks are required, but not everywhere that says that, enforces it.

Count on it being enforced.

Show time at the Opry on TV has musicians separated, non vocal ones wearing masks and the few folks in audience are wearing masks

Honestly not worth the risk. What if you get there thinking you might get away with no mask but it's enforced? Can you put off the trip until later in the year? With more and more people being vaccinated it increases the chances that maybe by end of summer/late fall mask mandates may go away.

Quite frankly, it is irresponsible not to mask when in a crowded public place, enforced or not. And, Tennessee has enough problems with those not masking as it is.
