Thanks for sharing. Very interesting and BC is one of our favorite places and I enjoyed seeing the snow on the mountains. We haven't been in Nova Scotia for awhile so good to see that as well. 73 hours 27 minutes, 3810 miles, 14F average outside temperature, 1319 KWH consumed. The times and technology are changing...

Way cool?
How popular is Tesla in Canada currently?
I was in Europe the other year and everyone would point to my Tesla hat (from my son who used to work for Tesla) and if I got one. I got the impression everyone's dream car is a Tesla.

Three days. Heck it took the Pony Express 10 days coast to coast 150 years ago. Pretty good progress.

Pretty common in BC. About 10 percent of vehicle sales were electric in BC in 2020 even with Covid. I suspect that will go up this year. Most are Tesla’s. I believe we also have one of the most extensive charge networks on the continent and its growing quickly. The government is doing a good job coordinating the various companies and agencies.

They're pretty common in Calgary. I usually see a few driving to & from work every day.

I visited Holland and Germany a couple of years ago, Tesla was the status car. When was the last time an American car was popular in Europe?

There's a whopping 400 of 'em in Sask. Probably just about 1 charging station for every electric vehicle here. Much more popular in BC and likely Ontario. Last time I was on Vancouver Island, I'd say 1 car in 10 was electric.
They aren't too popular here because of the vast distances and the cold temps.

The trip in the video was called “across Canada” but it was really not. It was between 2 large coastal cities.
“Across Canada” by road from furthest west being the Yukon - Alaska border crossing to the Cape Spear lighthouse in Newfoundland and Labrador is 8570 km or 5360 miles give or take.
The Tesla still wouldn’t need an oil change.
