Hello,

Any body using a 48" or longer hitch extension?
Are you using weight distribution?
How does it handle?
How heavy trailer?

Thank you, Andy

I run a 48" extension and pull my 9000#ish 24' car hauler with WD. I use 1500# bars cranked to the max and tongue weight is right around 1100#. The truck handles it beautifully.

I use a Torklift 48" extension with a Husky WD hitch with 1200 pound bars. I tow a 7000 pound horse trailer. tongue weight is 1100 pounds. I have been trailering that set up for 11 years now, all over the US, over the Sierras and Rockies in all sorts of weather. The trailer tracks perfectly with this set up.
