Long Bed Torklift on Short Bed? 2004 F250

Hey everyone,

I'm excited to join the community and get a camper loaded up on the truck. Does anyone have experience using Torklift F2011 (long bed) mounts on a shortbed truck or does anyone have insight on if this is possible?

Thanks!
Chris

If you have them they may work.

I put a set of 02 Chevy torklifts on my 08 Chevy. I had to drill one hole on each of the front mounts. All other holes lined up.

They have been working great for 12 years.

I would call Torklift and ask them, they are super helpful and knowledgeable when you call, they should be able to tell you what the differences are.

Torklift engineers their stuff to bolt up at the best mounting points on the frame that don't interfere with whatever else is bolted to the frame. Certainly the long box has different config than the short box, could be a minor change like re-drilling a hole or could be major in the shape of the mount based on location.

This is their catalog and it does show them as different. With that being said, has anyone been able to make it work?

Good luck getting it up and running.

It looks like they are different to me. You can look on their site. They list the model numbers.
