Best route from South Salt Lake City Utah (Midvale, UT) to Fort Bridger Wyoming?

We're on the road and traveling this Thurs., 4/22 to Fort Bridger. 32' Class C (no tow) and trying to limit steep incline passes.

So which would be better route (I-84 (north route) or I-80 (south route)) to get to where they connect at I-80?

Thanks in advance!

Our kids went to school in Laramie and we drove the 80 in just about everything imaginable: nice pickup loaded with stuff, pickup pulling car trailer & stuff, their junky old Dodge Caliber with a CVT, and most recently in our heavy 45' fifth wheel.

The 80 is just fine. You shouldn't have any trouble.

And when I say "no trouble", I mean no more trouble than any other route through WY. I'm not a superstitious man, but I swear that WY is trying to kill me.
