Texas Sprinter Repair

FYI. A shop for these vans is difficult to find. Mercedes dealers don't want to work on anything older than 2009 and most small shops are only comfortable with domestic products. However, if you're in South Central Texas I found a shop with mechanics that used to work for the Mercedes dealer in Boerne. They are Motion Fleet Services in Selma on I35 (located in the back of the Ewald Kubota Dealer property - go in their gate).

That's interesting. When I got the Doom Message "you have 10 starts left" while driving in Texas, searching suggested the nearest Sprinter dealer was M-B in Boerne. I drove there, arrived at 4pm with no appointment, and they were very good. Got me right in, replaced the NOx sensors and fixed the doom message.

Service manager claimed they had a couple of "really good Sprinter techs". I couldn't agree more. That was in 2019.

So what happened now -- they don't like Sprinters any more?
