Well Bob it was 215 degrees at the turn of to Willow beach Marina and Campground at the Campsite it was 220 degrees. Very nice area tubing boating right on the Colorado river. I must say my Grand Design Imagine and Colman Mach AC did great. It had to be 215 inside trailer upon arriving 4 pm. By midnight it was down to 75 inside coach and still 110 outside. A few measurements taken with my infrared thermometer. Concrete pad 250 deg. Door handles , body panels, awning supports , aluminum steps etc. 260 deg. All in all a nice stop over. Beautiful out this morning cloudy 100 deg. Took a short walk saw some wildlife and on to Zion today.

Water boils just north of 200°. I assume you got third degree burns as soon as you stepped outdoors.

I'm surprised this didn't make the news. Glad you lived to tell the tale.

JCK, glad it worked out for you. Sin City is setting records. We are down in Yuma, AZ. and it could set records here too. Have safe travels.

I told my son about this and he out-nerded me: "We talking Kelvin?"

You two should hang out. [emoticon]

My screwup it was 120 degrees etc just change the 2 to 1 and the record temps will be right.
We’re at Zion NP now 108 degrees for the highs to hot for most of the campers I’ve talked to.
Can’t wait to get to Bryce where it should be cooler.

Sorry for all the teasing. Couldn't resist. [emoticon]

Cooler days in Bryce sounds perfect. What a gorgeous place to recover.
