Who cares? The Cybertruck is still not in production.

I’m not sure that is a fair fight unless they use the single or dual motor Cyber Truck. The TRX is an awesome street and off road truck but not really meant to compete with other trucks in payload, towing or range. Different vehicles, different purposes. But who knows, maybe that is what they are doing, although the TRX is a more expensive truck than either the single motor or dual motor Cybertruck.

The results will be interesting.

Is that a real truck vs a "expected at some time in the future" truck? [emoticon]

It's benchmarking.

It is possible that Tesla is using it for the Cybertruck as basis for it's minimum targeted capability.

And double the price, surely a no-contest value proposition.

When my son was working at Tessla, he said F-150 was reversed engineered for their own pick up truck (maybe for weight forF-150s aluminum body).

I agree with Gomna...compare trucks in production.

I don't think that is true. I also have a wake boat, and I would say that the Raptor is one of the more common towing vehicles I see towing Malibu, Nautique, and Master Craft. Lots of guys already talking about trading "up" to a TRX. They will absolutely compete head to head in the towing arena.

I had hoped some of this Tesla **** would go into the new EV thread but guess not. As for the post, You can really buy the TRX. It's a real truck IN PRODUCTION.
