I’m not sure that is a fair fight unless they use the single or dual motor Cyber Truck. The TRX is an awesome street and off road truck but not really meant to compete with other trucks in payload, towing or range. Different vehicles, different purposes. But who knows, maybe that is what they are doing, although the TRX is a more expensive truck than either the single motor or dual motor Cybertruck.

The results will be interesting.

I don't think that is true. I also have a wake boat, and I would say that the Raptor is one of the more common towing vehicles I see towing Malibu, Nautique, and Master Craft. Lots of guys already talking about trading "up" to a TRX. They will absolutely compete head to head in the towing arena.

Didn’t realize that. But it kinda makes sense I guess. High performance truck pulling high performance boat. Nice combo. There is a TRX a couple streets over from us. Sweet sounding truck and goes like hell.

Take the number of years of truck-making experience each manufacturer has and make your decision based on that. I know that's what I'd do.

There is such thing as same-class comparison and value (performance and capabilities vs price) in the truck and car industry -- if I correctly recall..[emoticon]

Cybertruck is like an ElCamino or Avalanche.
Yes it has a bed. Yes it can haul some stuff, but unless the chassis is somehow orders of magnitude stiffer than current trucks, it’ll tear itself apart eventually if hauling heavy loads in the bed.

It's marketing genius. Why would Tesla want to compare themselves to the better manufactures when they have an opportunity to compare their future truck to the worst manufacture, and get a good laugh at the same time.

I bet senior leadership at FCA is pissed off because they know that it's also a subtle insult and everyone at Tesla, Ford and GM is laughing at Ram. LOL

The dodge fan boys hate the dodge/ram dealerships. Now that I own a Fiat Qui-Qui, I understand why.

Seriously? The same people that launched a rocket into sub-freezing outer space and make them survive the searing heat of re-entry would mess the earthbound truck chassis.

Geez, where you are you getting this fear mongering paranoia?[emoticon]

You mean the rocket people are also making cars, or maybe they're two, or more, separate divisions. Just because one division does a good job, doesn't mean the other divisions can't screw up.

After all GM made the Corvette, and Camaro, but then also made the Vega and the Aztec. Ford made the Mustang, and GT40, but also the Pinto and the Edsel.
