Friday, rain, Saturday, rain & 44 degrees (was actually as low as 39 when we were out and about), today, 47, rain, tomorrow showers, but at least it's going to be 63. Just miserable. I am thankful, though, that I'm not in an area that's getting tornadoes.

I'm extremely jealous of our niece who lives in Indiana. She posted a pic of her with her hubby and a friend at the Indianapolis 500. The weather is gorgeous and she's at a great race. Hope she has a blast!


I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be Douglas Adams

RV-less for now but our spirits are still on the open road.

Some years the Indy 500 weather is a mess.

It's weather. If you want to get someone to make changes - go to a chapel and talk to the man upstairs.

I went to the Indy 500 once, 1976; the weather wasn’t pleasant. The race was ended after ~102 laps.

You are getting what we had earlier in the week. Today has been beautiful, temps in the upper 70s and very little wind. Give it a couple of days and this is what you'll have.

It was great weather for the Indy 500.

The wife and I have made 5 trips to various places and apon arrival, turned on the furnace.
Once arriving home after the trip, first thing we did was turn on th AC.

It's been one of those years where cold and rain has developed an intimate relationship with us.

On my commute home Friday afternoon the radio was reporting golf ball sized hail along I66 west of DC associated with a supercell they were monitoring for rotation as it approached DC. Fortunately no tornado developed. Fortunately that cell stayed south of my commute home.

We got hammered Thursday night. The news said we had baseball size hail but where I live was smaller but still damaging. Add 4.25 inches of rain in 3 hours and 70 mph winds. My small TH TT although sitting under a carport had hail damage to the East side. The appraiser thought they would total it. The front of the house has some holes in the siding but no broken windows. The impact-resistant shingles did their job with no damage to the roof. My garage roof did not do so well with conventional asphalt shingles. The temperature has been running about 20 degrees cooler then normal.

To answer your question, yes it can get worse.

To answer the subject question: YES. it can always get worse.. It can also get better. Though the definition of "Better" varies from person to person.


Home was where I park it. but alas the.
2005 Damon Intruder 377 Alas declared a total loss
after a semi "nicked" it. Still have the radios
