Not sure why they would publish this and not have any updates,or did I miss something here.
I'm very interested in a 6.6 gas 10 speed if it ever happens.

I think the GMC HD is one of the better looking trucks available today. I really disliked the Chevy when it came out, and while I still don't like it, the looks have grown on me and I don't think it is as bad as when it came out.

Personally, I think many new designs are that way. To me, the new F150 is about as ugly as a Chevy HD. The last front end was much more appealing.

I would get excited if GM produced a good looking truck for once since the '87 model year.

Full concurrence!

Doing my best to make it new again. But it still won't be much of a tow rig compared to any new truck unless the 454 leaves for a 12V or a LS and it sprouts another 2-3 forward gears!

That's what I'm talking about. I had a 1987 two tone (And GM what happened to the two tone paint option?) with gray top and bottom and black in the middle with the TBI 350. Purchased a 1992 Chevy truck with the bubble aero style and the looks never grew on me... Hated it although the truck was very reliable. "Like a Rock" :B

I love the way the current GMC HD looks, but not the Chevy. When GM came out with the power numbers for the 6.6L gas engine I kind of figured they were sandbagging a little because an engine that size should easily be around 420-430 hp.

Goes to show you GM still has loyal customers.

Yeah, but it would be difficult to drive with a bag over your head if you had to pilot a new Chevy HD!

When the OB fanboys spend so much time complaining about the GMs looks.... Even though they would never buy one even it it looked exactly like their brand of choice.... It means that the GMs are pretty good trucks.:B

We had a Ram once and didn't like that front end and really not a fan of the latest ram front ends that really have not changed much but soon after driving our truck the grill didn't show from the steering wheel and no more even giving it a thought. chevman

Pretty vague news. More than likely Ford will be updating their engines in the upcoming years as will Ram. Now if I was a GM guy and if they had said the 2022 GM HD will get an all new 500 hp, 1100 lbft Duramax I might get excited.

I actually think GM has produced some pretty nice looking trucks since then, but tastes do vary. But I can't for the life of me figure out how anyone thinks the current Chevy 2500/3500 is anything but obscenely ugly & the GMs are only a little better.

Not sure why, but for the last few months GMauthority links have been appearing in news feeds a lot. The articles are almost uniformly disappointing & lacking in info that the headline promises. I just don't go there anymore.
