Pretty much a nonevent for both. I wish they would start towing 11-14k 5th wheels up the Ike in these tests. The wind resistance on those would make these trucks struggle a lot more.

Lol, right?
Who cares how well a new HD diesel tows a light load like that. I've pulled loads like that over the Ike in a F150, with a 5.4 and 4speed OD.

Not much info there to base any decisions on. I have been disappointed with TFL tests recently. They seem to be more about entertainment than anything else.

One way of looking at the fuel savings is that if the Ram can save 10% on fuel, based on typical usage, a person could afford to pay about $2000 more for the Ram.

I think this test is not going to significantly challenge most any of the current offerings, so they have to try to stay relevant and appeal at some level.

Forget the IKE it's a non event. What you want is the real SAE trailer tow grade comparisons. Davis Dam.
