Hubcap issues

Anyone else have issues with hubcaps on the Ford E450 chassis? Just bought a new Gulfstream Conquest with 16" wheels. A neighbor noticed that one of my hubcaps on the front was crooked and not on all the way. He mentioned that a lot of folks he knows with this type of cap end up losing them. Mine seemed fine when I picked it up and drove it home but after I had the tires checked and aired up the two fronts seem kind of funny and don't want to stay on. Any tricks that you folks know of?

Thanks in advance.

We had a 2001 F250 that threw the little center hub caps. Left the replacement ones in the box and gave them over to the buyer when we sold the truck.

Current 2008 hasn't been a problem.

Get a rubber mallet and pound them on securely. Thatโ€™s what I had to do on my Freightliner chassis because they fit very tight.

I replaced mine with the bolt on type, after loosing one. Like these.
Not the cheapest, but way better than buying one after another, only to possibly loose it again.
