That is true for just about 100% of any information you read in any magazine about one of their advertisers. I don't believe any of it from any of them. I have canceled just about all of my magazine subscriptions except for a couple of 4x4 mags which are just as bad as the rest of them, but do have a few good trip/trail reports from time to time.

I agree. Good articles. Some of the mods are fantastic!

Are you all getting updates from TCM? I used to subscribe 4 years ago when I had a TC but unsubscribed a while after I sold it. Now that I have a TC again I re-subscribed..... a couple of times...I just can not get on the mailing list for some reason. I checked my spam but nothing there.
I send Gordon and Angela a separate email...still no luck.
I'm just wonder if others have heard how to get back on the mailing list.

Try Truck Camper Adventure, add them to your reading list.

I had unsubscribed years ago for they refused to answer any questions I sent them that challenged some of their view points.

Although they have good articles I am not a subscriber. I have definitely noticed a bias to their advertisers over the years. As a conservative I can respect that but as a truck camper I'll pass. Gordons self proclaimed king of truck camper-dom is also annoying. He is also the supreme leader of the weight police.

Gordon is a sell out!

Just don’t take any truck advice from TCM. They aren’t knowledgeable at all, they’re just brochure-readers.
The day I read the article about selling an earlier model dually and buying a new SRW because the “rated” payload was higher, so be safer and set a good example, I was done with that magazine permanently.

Good, I was tired of the too cute BS about the cat.

I don’t personally care if the owners of TCM are sellouts or not. If you like it, read it. However, I tried to read it, but I found the content targeted at new to TCM people who were shopping for one of their advertisers products. That’s fine, but just not for me.

I find the information here much better which is why I read the posts here.

Jim, I agree with that. One of the things I like about this forum is everyone is sorta in the same boat. OK, Not everyone but everyone I click on. I left LOA for a couple of reasons and one of the reasons was the constant "I would call your local Lance dealer and see what they say" Ummm, What? That's not in my world. Here the do it yourselfer is strong minded and honest. Hey I screwed it up can someone help me type of place and ten members come to the rescue. I'm way more into that line of thinking than anything anyone could ever dream up in a warranty. Believe me I do miss a couple of the guys at LOA but here I will stay.
