Mattress Recommendations

Looking to replace the OEM mattress. It is an RV Short King (72"x75").

I see so many options....gel infused, gel foam, memory foam, 6", 8", 12".....

I'm a big guy at 275# and wife is petite.

The have the RV short queen and narrow RV bunk mattresses, expect they should have the shot king, too.

We replaced ours with a Wilderness Montana Hybrid and got a discount from RV Tips Discount Club. Their CS is top notch. When we received it and before opening it we realized that we ordered the wrong king size. They took it back no problem and sent the new one. Super good mattress.

If you want a mattress this season, I don't recommend MattressInsider.com -- I ordered a mattress back in April, and now they are saying

Please Note: Current delivery time for custom foam mattresses is 8-12 weeks due to supply chain issues beyond our control.

So I may not get it until July.

It's a custom mattress with a corner cut, if I knew about the delay, I might have tried buying a cheap memory foam mattress and cutting it myself.

We have Verlo mattresses in our RV and stick house.

We put Lucid 8" and 10" in our Toy Hauler. Both came from Amazon and have no complaints. I am 6'5" 240 and sleep fine on both.

Go to a bed store. Try all of them out and give the store a shot at the Internet price.
