Horsedoc, I have to agree, Georgia at this time is the better team. The SEC right now is in turmoil, Fla., LSU, and maybe others looking at coaching changes and a lot of schools with first year Head Coaches, it may take 2 or more years to get going again.... All I know is my Razorbacks are on a roll, right now. First time in history that they brought home THREE rivalry trophies in one year. The BOOT from LSU, the SEC Classic from Texas A&M, and the Battleline from Missouri. They are bowl bound and the scuttlebutt is a major Florida Bowl on New Years day. We will see how it shakes out after the games today. By the way, I am pulling for Georgia to win all this year....
P.S. Prayers for bagman and his family......

Thank-you Dadoffourgirls! Watched Oklahoma State vs Baylor and now watching Alabama vs Georgia. Believe it or NOT, I will be rooting for Michigan tonight over Iowa as I have lived in Michigan since Jan 1973.

My vote for the championship 4: Alabama, Michigan, Cincinnati, & Utah. They all won their conference titles.
Georgia had a great season but lost the one game they couldn't afford to lose. The playoff selection committee can't ignore Cincinnati like they did UCF 4 years ago. Bearcats look pretty legit and I believe they could hold their own against the perceived Big Boys.

Well, Alabama spanked us like a step child. I am ashamed of the performance of our defense. Kirby lost a lot of confidence the bulldog nation had in him, not to mention the combinded bonus of the nearly a mil if he could pull off the win and then win the National Championship. I will just keep quiet for the rest of the year and watch. There was major money that caused Richt to be fired and Smart hired. Wonder how they feel right now.

GO BLUE!!! Michigan was very dominant over 10-2 Iowa. I think they should be #! with AL #2, Cinn #3. SHould GA be #4?? I would not like to see ND #4.

Notre Dame won the Cupcake Conference title. Unless and until they affiliate with a Conference or add a few conference powerhouses to their schedule if they wish to remain an "indie", hard to take them seriously.
ND will get a New Year's 6 bowl invite but me thinks it's a real stretch to see them in the Championship 4.
Match them up with Georgia in the Peach Bowl. That would be must see TV for me.

But then who would you have #4 in the CFP?

Utah. They beat Oregon for the Pac 12 title, Oregon beat Ohio State. I think Utah earned a seat at the table.
Until a better playoff system comes along, the whole scheme is as subjective as judging the Westminster Dog Show.
