State Farm. Not sure what you mean by 'trouble free' but we've had a claim or two ofer the years with no hassles.

If you are former military then USAA of San Antonio provides insurance service for autos, trucks and RVs at very competitive prices. I have been insured with them since 1970 for trucks and travel trailer with no problems and their telephone help line is great with good english speaking reps you can understand. Always been fast polite service.

I would agree with the recommendation to stick with the same company you use for home and auto. Coordinate the coverage. If you are not happy with the costs, coverage or service then start over with all your policies.

I have had progressive for about 10 years. Seems reasonable and the 2 claims I have had went fine.

This ^

If you aren't happy with your home/auto insurance, you probably need to change them all.

By having multiple policies under one company, you get better discounts and the local agent is more likely to go to bat for you if they stand to lose multiple policies.

True story! American Family smoked Farmers in overall cost. They have been great to deal with overall.
