Nope. Not me. I'm not "special". I really like my new Cummins Onan 2500 inverter generator.

Sorry to break the news, but that is totally incorrect. Anyone with a truck camper will probably see that the compressor runs a lot longer than 30 seconds before cycling off. I know for a fact that mine runs a lot longer than 30 seconds.

I don't understand why TC manufacturers don't put in window units like they do the fancy vans..There quieter by far than the roof mounts and in the low 40's for sound db's..A Honda inverter gen will run one with ease in eco mode at 330 watts/compressor running..With my 9.6 Lance in the sun at 106 degree's outside,it kept the inside in the low 70's and blowing cold quiet air..
Compressor engaged and plugged into my Jackery 1000 watt inverter/so-gen..

they would have to insulate the truck campers then or they would never shut off.

When camping in 124F weather, my AC compressor might go off for few minutes between 2 and 5 AM, otherwise it was on full blast all the time.
Even than opening any cabinet was like opening running oven.

But it is dry heat.
120F is extreme, but per my perception 110F @ 10% humidity equals to 90F and 60%, what is quite common across southern and central USA.

Keytag,
Imagine my surprize when I returned to my previous RV when I was in Mesa AZ. It was 117 f outside--and the breaker on the air conditioner had tripped.

Than is used in comparisons as a conjunction (as in "she is younger than I am") and as a preposition ("he is taller than me"). Then indicates time. It is used as an adverb ("I lived in Idaho then"), noun ("we'll have to wait until then"), and adjective ("the then-governor").

The greatest thing to ever happen to a TC. And AC.
