Planning to head out to Lee Vining - Mammoth Lakes - Bishop area to boondock... does anyone have recommendations for a 35' Class A with a toad?

Check out Obsidian Dome/Deadman Summit area. But scout it first.

If you choose the Owens River Road area, off US 395 and across from Glass Creek USFS CG, scout in your toad before you drive in. Short drive to June Lake area and Mammoth for day trips.

Glass creek campground is just north of Mammoth on the west side of 395. It is free and has large sites. Stayed there last year just before July 4th. Across 395 is a disbursed camping area that should work too. FYI, Glass Creek is where many off road vehicle groups camp but no problems when we stayed.
