12 Volt Problem

Help !! We are dry camping and running off a portable generator. Everything works fine. The minute I turn off the main double 50 amp breakers, everything shuts down. I am talking 120 volt things, as expected, but all the 12 volt also shuts down also. This has never happened before. Any ideas, other than let the generator run 24/7? I have an inverter that I have run a separate cord from just to operate a couple of chargers and that continues to function. I am confused.

You just found the problem with the Intellitec disconnect panel. When you have 120 supplied to the Motorhome, EVEN WITH THE DISCONNECT OFF, the red LED light on the panel is ON. This is normal. I have always told my Newmar owners to occasionally push the ON switch at the disconnect panel in case someone inadvertainely turned it off. When this happens on your year model, this means the coach batteries usually went dead even tho plugged into 120. Doug
