With COVID cases increasing, unfortunately, how does everyone feel about booking trips for the early fall? We were looking forward to a a week or two over the road but now have reservations about going. Already have met people getting sick after being vaccinated and I wouldn't want to have that happen while away.

If I stayed home I would still need to buy gasoline and visit the supermarket. So I travel. However, I don’t “book” anything. I boondock.

From what I’m seeing, people are doing what they want. No one is concerned or worried about the latest (gasp) variant. Just go and enjoy yourself. We will be in FL in October.

Getting on the road is probably a lot safer than going shopping on Long Island. We had our shots and have no issues with going on the road for a month later this year. Go enjoy life. I worry more about a bus falling out of the sky!

The media will make you NUTS with their reporting of this [email protected] …
If they were honest, you would see that it is safe to travel, especially if you got your shots…
Just because people are testing positive, that does not mean the sky is falling…

I have cancer and am immune compromised. Tests showed I had no antibodies from the vaccines. SO I will probably not go on my FLorida snowbird trip unless things change. I hope to get the booster ASAP. I have been told to stay isolated.

Appreciate responses. My friend got Covid 2.0 after he was vaccinated. He needed to be in the hospital for an iv. Then quarantined for 10 days. Dw can’t drive the fifth wheel. If I get sick we are stuck.
