Our unit runs fine on all fan settings
When we recently turned on air conditioner it make a "clunking" noise and shut off
Fan still runs fine
Anyone experience this?
Sorry for the non-technical post

Really need Model number. The clunking sound may be the condensor fan on certain model Low Profile RVP AC units that had a problem with the motor mount failing and the fan motor/fan blade falls over and makes that clunk sound when calling for the compressor. The 47 and 48 series had this type system. Doug
