Wear light clothing, a straw hat, and thick shoes. On a hot day the sun bakes you and the pavement fries you. Hard to do the whole show in one day. Have a good time, it's worth it.

JimBollman wrote: Never been but familiar with the grounds since we go to the be antique car flea market and car show in October. The car flea market takes all the paved parking lots from the football stadium all the way past the Giant Center to road on the West side. What area does the RV show cover?
It's basically the Giant Center Parking lot.

We were planning to attend, but heard that due to the shortage of inventory, dealers won't have much of an offering. Don't know if it's true, but we have decided to wait for the Tampa RV show in January and hope for a larger selection.
Today is my personal best for most consecutive days alive.

Just to add some perspective, it is the parking lot of a Hockey arena. So picture a Hockey or Basketball arena and it's lot filled with RV's. As stated above, if you go there with a blank slate unsure if you want to see small, large, travel trailers, 5th wheels, motorhomes.... yes it will take a few days. We have been there 4 or 5 times and always had a reason and 3-4 hours was plenty. I imagine pre-internet days this show was more valuable. Now most already know what they are interested in. This just makes it nice to see in person.

Been to it a few times. Yeah, it is big. Yeah, you need two days to cover it.
Don't expect to find what you want at the show. There are simply too many models available. Do some research before going. If nothing else narrow the builders down. Do a short video of any possibilities. Be sure to mention builder & model in video. After a couple of hours they all start to look the same.
