I'm planning a big trip in a couple months. I use Goodyear Endurance 205/75R15 tires on my 7000pound travel trailer (15" wheels). Can't find these replacements or even the 225 size anywhere.

Don't want China tires

Thinking about going LT Michelin truck tires.

Comments? Advise?

I'm not a tire expert but I think the LT tires have a softer sidewall than trailer tires and more succeptable to breaking the bead when turning. Also a LT tire has a softer sidewall and that will increase sway according to Goodyear

Lt vs ST Tires

Go to the Goodyear site and order them to be delivered to your nearest Goodyear dealer. There is no shortage, the dealers just don't want to stock them.
My local store said three to four months to get them. Went to Goodyear and they were at the store in five days and were only six weeks old.

Yes, I've tried Walmart and every other online retailer. I called dozens of local dealers. A good friend of mine owns a large tire store where I buy all my tires. He told me there is a massive, world wide rubber shortage and GY isn't even producing trailer tires at this time. I just found and ordered a set of 225 Endurance from a dealer in Dallas on Ebay. Free shipping to Massachusetts. It says he has one set left. Fingers crossed!
