Fresh water tank

We just bought a 2021 Montana. We are on our first trip in it and I noticed that the fresh water tank is showing 1/3 full. I haven’t put anything in it but may have inadvertently. Where and how do I drain it ?

Or the dealer may have put water in the tank to do a systems test before you took delivery.

I'll say that the others have probably nailed it with cr@ppy gauges and/or leaky check valve in the pump.

Interesting how Keystone totally cheaped out on these and simply put a cap on the end of the Pex instead of a factory-installed valve. My '04 Komfort used a 1.25" drain line with a blade valve and my current KZ has a standard Pex line with a 1/4 turn valve on the end, like the low point drains. Wish my KZ had the 1.25" drain line, that's for sure.

Yep, had water squirting out my overflow once from a bad water pump.

Those gauges are notorious for not being accurate.
