IN my 12 years full time I sometimes used digester products if I was goign to be a long time between dumps. but frankly I do not think they helped
Just flush well when you dump. and do not overflow.

I went thru one container of Happy Camper and it didn't make me any happier, just removed a little weight from my purse. Now just use some Calgon Liquid Water Softener, some Dollar Store Pine Sol and water.

Just use plenty of water and the tank will be fine. It's a holding tank not a digester and there are plenty of microbes in your natural deposits to digest the poo anyway.
This. At the end of the season I do pour a few cups of laundry detergent in tank, fill it half way with water, drive a couple hundred KMs & then dump. That really cleans the tank & ensures that there is no poop build up.
I've tried at least a dozen different brands & none using beats lots of plain old water.

I have found that if you drive a hundred miles or so and then flush the tank. I see very few solids passing through.
Now I do add Dawn to the tank and Calgon if I can find it after a dump & the toilet does use a fair amount of the fresh water each flush. Plus the bathroom sink drains into the black tank.
Works for me.
