Are there any manufacturers still offering a Class C 4x4 that is not on a sprinter or transit chassis? I’m looking for something in the 25-28’ range that sleeps 5/6 comfortably but can’t find anything, nor do I know where to look.

You could contact Quigley 4x4 who converted my 28’ class C. They may have vendors you could contact for answers to your questions. Good luck!

It's a little bigger than your 28 foot target, but Nexus sells a 30 foot Super C 4WD Rebel:

Thor sells some Super C 4WD's too, but they too may be a little bigger than you're looking for:

For a reasonable price range, converting a used unit will be your best option. Cost for 4x4 alone from Quigley is $22k range. Absolutely worth it if you go off the grid like I do 95% of the time. And remember, it’s still a BIG BOX and not an off road vehicle. Use with extreme care.
