For those of you looking to buy a 2000 watt small inverter generator, tractor supply is having a cyber Monday sale all week. The 2000 watt is on sale for I believe $469

OK if that is the lightweight 2KW I'd advise against it.I bought one to use while our Honda 2.2 KW was in the shop (for months) and was quite displeased with it. I doubt that it really puts out 2K. We found we could not run two appliences at the same time, which the Honda could, and could not put the hot water heater on electric power.
I have used the Champion 3.5 KW and that was OK, of course it has a larger output. But I think they cut the power level down on that lightweight 2 KW.

I don't know anything about the Champion regular 2KW gen, it is probably OK.

With great reviews and being dual fuel capable this Champion inverter genny is something to consider for those who have moderate power demands when RVing off the grid. Will run most 120Vac items, microwave will probably need to be run without other major demands on this small genny, no biggie as breaker will just trip if it overloads, a quick reset and you are good to go again.

Good for powering converter for couple of hours to restore consumed amphours to your battery bank, and easily power all audio, video, PC/laptop, and gaming equipment. Although output from propane mode will sacrifice a couple hundred watts, not needing to carry extra gas is awesome, particularly since most genny use is sporadic at best, hooking to propane is just easier for minor usage.

I would buy for dual fuel capabilities, alas with both an onboard Onan and Champion 3100 remote start inverter genny it certainly would be a redundant purchase. Can't comment on this exact model, our 5 year old Champion has over 500 hours, quiet and way more fuel efficient compared to our Onan. Plus Champion has great customer service and plenty of parts availability.

2KW is the starting surge power rating.

The continuous running power rating is 1.7KW or 1.8 KW, depending on which Champion model it is.

2000=1800 running watts
Suggest Westinghouse igen2500 =2200 running watts at $501.
That extra 500 starting and extra 400 running watts makes a big difference.

Champions are the best out there. Have both the 2kw and the 3.5kw dual fuel. Love them. Customer service is great, even if you need it.

Love my Champion 4500/3500 pull start. 2 easy pulls - one on choke, one on start - and away she goes, even in this colder wet weather we have been having.

It will run anything I have thrown at it so far in my 5er and in my remote shop, but don't know about a second a/c.

I bought one a year ago and had a coupon for 20% off plus it was on sale for $429. I could not pass it by. Runs great and powers everything I need. Great little generator.
