Ditto, why go thru the potential pain of an upgrade unless someone shows you a number of good reasons to do so. And I have not seen a single improvement mentioned yet.

Same response as the one above. Did the upgrade, found no issues, would do it again.

I am very happy with Windows 10 and 8.1 on my laptops. No need for eleven and I let other early adopters do the testing and experience of new anything. They are useful

I can't stand WIN 10 so I've never gone any further than WIN 7 Professional. Considering my dislike of WIN 10, I've been looking at WIN 11 but I agree with the crapware problem. And I read just yesterday that Microsoft can now block FireFox totally. I think I'll keep using WIN 7 for several more years.

Hi, I just switched to Windows 11 on my desk top. I like Windows 10 better mostly because I was used to it. The main reason for me to upgrade my desk top to Windows 11 was because I ordered a new lap top that has Windows 11 on it and I want both computers to work the same. Previously, I could install my SD card and my picture down loader would pop up on the screen, now I have to hunt for it and it takes extra steps to do the same thing. So where did it help me?
Same with Windows 10, my Canon printer still works, but some of the functions don't because there is no driver available.

Thanks Tom, that's good news, and a good article.
If I can't have Firefox, their OS is useless to me.

Firefox worked for me fine on Win 10 and I found no interruption when I made the move to Win 11. Using it now just as I always have.

I would love to keep my Windows 10 Pro forever, if that were allowable. I don”t thinking that’s gonna happen, though. My Toshiba laptop isn’t able to upgrade to W11, anyway.

Recently purchased a new Dell Ultrabook for travel, which qualified for upgrade to WIN11. However, after some research, discovered that a primary media creation program I use is not yet fully compatible. So a no go, and will stick with WIN10 for now.
