Perfect opportunity for RVer with prior mechanic/engine repair experience who likes to work on equipment and would like an equipped shop to do it in. Supervises our shop area and conducts preventive maintenance and repairs on park tools and equipment such as mowers, chain saws, trucks, trailers and a skidsteer. General handyman skills and familiarity with electric golf carts a plus. This position enjoys interacting with other members of our maintenance crew. This is workamping position and generally functions mornings most weekdays.

In exchange for 20 hours work per week our workampers receive an allowance toward a full-hookup RV site, electricity use and cable. Bay View is a full-service RV destination with full hook up sites and amenities in a park-like setting. Please send your resume to [email protected] or call us at 361-400-6000.

Twenty hours a week for an allowance for a full hookup site. Interesting offer. With sites about $500 per month...that's about $6.25 per hour.

What is the allowance? I assume this means a partial cost of the actual site fee?

jdc, I believe the Texas minimum wage is $7.25 per hour. So, IMO, the "allowance" is to pay even less per hour.

The reviews on this park are quite...interesting.

Key word, "toward", doesn't mean for a site, sounds like a credit towards a site.
