I remember years ago when the Ford Taurus became the best selling car in America out selling Honda for the first time.
Ford sold tons of them near the end of the year to huge fleet accounts with HUGE discounts just to get the number up.
Being "the best selling" wouldn't sway my purchase.
Right now the only thing, for me anyway that Ford has over GM is their 7.3 gas motor but I'd probably settle for GMs 6.6 just because I like the GM truck better.

Regular cab. The best looking trucks.
GM should just drop pickup trucks from the Chevy line and make them all GMC, or just roll all truck production under the Chevy brand. Wouldn't be the first time they did "brand consolidation." Remember Saturn, Oldsmobile?
Then there would be no question.
Then there would be the idiot GMC owners who wouldn't buy a Chevy because they're "junk."
Putting 10-ply tires on half ton trucks since aught-four.
