Fuel pump I'm looking for is 149–2267 there seems to be other models that are anywhere from $50-$80 each for some reason the cheapest price I could find for mine is $225 does anyone know of a replacement or a universal model that can be used it's a 1998 coachman Mirada that has an onan /cummins generator

That looks like an ordinary, garden-variety Carter electric fuel pump.

This website shows the specs - none of which are unusual:

I used an auto parts store low pressure pump and I keep a spare with me just in case.

Currently about 500 hours on that cheap replacement.

Just match the psi rating, head rating and flow rate rating from your exiting pump. When mine failed on a trip I replaced mine on the road from an auto parts store for about $25.

Appears Cummins themselves wants $333 for that one!
Personally I’d drop in something meant for carburetors that costs about $50 and take my chances with it before paying that much for a cheap little fuel pump.
Fwiw, there is no reason for that part to be that expensive. You could buy 3 Holley 100+ Gph fuel pumps and a regulator for that much.
