I have a guy that can get me a couple of one year old dated tire in a 8R19.5 size for three hundred fifty a piece, is that a fair price? Are the tires any good?

higher price than here $228 if you are looking at Bridgestone. Just make sure you pair them. Can't help you on good, but they do make good tires. This is for the R196A model. From a low of 228 to over $300.
Think you need to look around more.

Even here in Canada where everything costs more, I paid less than that for new Toyo 8-19.5 tires here.

Two problems-- expensive and OLD.
You will replace RV tires based on age, not tread wear.

Admittedly it’s not really clearly written, but I took the OP’s comment to mean they are brand new tires with a 1 year old DOT date.

I still have the old 8R19.5 tires, I am going to switch to a G Rated 235 70R19.5 I believe. The Sailone brand seems to be the one I will go with on my new purchases.
