Go with the Scan Gauge. It will also monitor things like you intake air temps which affect you engine and exhaust temps.

I have the Scan Gauge and find it very informative over the factory gauges that don't monitor as many items as the Scan Gauge. Very easy to install and no tools needed.

If stock, no need to go there.

It is only when adding extra fuel to the Cummins factory settings that one has to monitor them.


And, if electronic engine, the ScanGauge D is a good choice for most monitoring functions including boost(not EGT, as that requires installation of a new sensor in the exhaust manifold).
