2014 Freelander on Ford E450 lost cruise control. Looked in the book for a fuse but can't find one.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try pressing all the cruise control buttons at the same time.
When my Jeep sometimes loses the cc start function, it seems to engage it, if I press the CC on, Set, Resume, and Cancel buttons at the same time.

Mike. Comments are anecdotal or personal opinions, and worth what you paid for them.

Had this happen to me on a Ford E350 RV that I owned. Turned out to be a loose connection in the wire harness under the dash that contained the cruise control wires.

Cruise has been built into the engine computer for a long time. No separate fuse.

Maybe the cutoff switch when the brake pedal is pushed.

I'm not sure if this is still the case, but if the fuse for the brake lights blows, as an indicator, the cruise and/or the dash lights quit as well.

Check other items to see if they function.

The cruise control on my four-wheeler stopped working and I did not know why. Some time later, one of the anti-skid sensors failed. Mechanic said that the weakening anti-skid sensor generated an error message, causing the computer to disable the cruise control. So there are all kinds of ways that something can go wrong on a modern automobile.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll be working on it this weekend and will report back.

That was the problem 2 years ago, when my Jeep's CC cut out intermittently, until I got an ABS error message that hard disabled it. Turned out to be one of the wheel speed sensors failure. Replaced at FCA, and has been OK ever since.
