Going to be making a coast to coast round trip later this year and I’m needing to replace the Michelin 235/80R/22.5 .

I went to Toyo, some say that is a rougher ride, but I have not noticed that.
I'm glad to be done with the Michelin sidewall failure issues, which mine previous tires had.

Same here...lots of good tires out there, but I"m done with Michelin. I got Continentals for the front and Toyos for the rear....the dealer didn't have Toyos that fit the front.

Another vote for Toyos, nothing against Michelin as we have had them on our personal automobiles and we didn't notice any better results with ride or longevity wise to make them a preferred choice.

Even another vote for Toyos. Got the M-154's and do not notice a ride difference over the Michelins.

Replaced my Michelins with Toyos. I likes the Michelins better but not the $600 difference better.

Just replaced our Michelins with Toyos only because they were 10yrs old not due to tread wear. Toyos were almost 1k cheaper..we don't wear them out they just get old so it was a no brainer. The ride actually seems smoother.

The other thing about Toyo is that it does not have the tread life of Michelin... But.. Read on.
You will not wear out the tread in RV use.
Over the road long haul trucking yes.
RV use now The tires (Both makes) will age out first
FMCA has a discount plan... I put half a dozen Toyo's on my 26,000 pound rig... Only problem was NOT with the tires (story later) ride the same. As near as my... er.. pants... could tell. Price about 1500 LESS than Mitchelin with FMCA discount.
The story
Shop did not have a jack that would lift my rig so we used mine.
on asphalt you MUST lay a plank under the jack or you will poke a hole in the pavement.. Took about 2 hours to get it back up on the jack
Home was where I park it. but alas the.
2005 Damon Intruder 377 Alas declared a total loss
after a semi "nicked" it. Still have the radios

If the Michelins have served you well stay with them.
