Thanks for the feedback, been off fixing my RV for the last week with normal, as in something always breaks, repair items.
On the overall length issue, I have seen highway patrol in CA pulling people over and measuring the overall length. This typically happens to people coming from the offroad areas in Glamis and Ocotillio Wells.
Not seen it anywhere else, but you never know.
I had a stacker 10 years back, and now I'm kicking myself for selling it as that is the best solution as someone pointed out.
My vision is a small lift just for a Harley, that would be over the vette just a foot or 2. But as someone said, I need to cost it all out. Might just cost the same to buy a used stacker, instead of a 20 ft trailer, beefing up the framing, adding a lift, etc.
I gotta run the numbers.

They are pretty good at checking racing rigs coming out of Vegas for length also.

Something to think about is the weight balance of hanging a harley on the back. Yes, the ride height control valves will compensate to keep the rear up, but you WILL be taking weight of the front tires due to the fulcrum effect from the harley. Too little weight on the front tires results in poor steering. I have a friend with a bmw bike on a hydralift mounted on the back of a newell. He can tell a difference in the handling with and without the bike. Just something to chew on.

Bikeboy - The vision in my head is to have the Harley in the front of the trailer, front wheel forward pointing at the rv. Lift the bike up 2 to 3 feet, lock it in, then pull the nose of the corvette under the lift.
At least that's how I think it would all work, but from a vision to a reality things always change.
