Climb up on that roof and walk every square inch (might need an extension ladder). Look at the tire date stamps. I think there is a walk-thru list somewhere on this site.
As a brand, they are seen as one of the better ones. But, that is of minimal use in gauging a 17 year old unit. Condition and apparent maintenance should be your guiding factors.
