To answer the question: whatever provides the light necessary to function in the least obnoxious way.

That means that I still use flashlights to move from point A to point B - because I can aim it at the ground in front of my feet and not light up the entire campground. I use led lanterns on the lowest acceptable setting when I need ambient lighting. And I turn off lights when not needed.

my go to has been the LED tiki torch lights.
I found a couple old oil lanterns in my grandfathers garage last year. I took out the oil bits, took apart 2 tiki torches, and put the torch in the middle of the lanterns. Looks really cool, and I get tons of compliments on them, on the rare occasion I go to a campground instead of boondocking where it's really dark.

For those who don't have old lanterns, you can get led versions on amazon:

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to call BlackSeries out on this. He's misrepresenting himself.

Isn't there forum rule about commercial activity (other than GS, of course)?

Don't feed the troll applies............

I thought it might be an interesting topic in that I tent camp with Scouts and have been in sites where adjacent sites were lit up like Las Vegas both at Scouting events and at RV campgrounds.

That said, strictly speaking, you're right. The OP is commercial, so rather than delete the thread, I'll lock it, but if someone wants to continue the topic other than the OP, open a new thread.

Between RVs at this point
