For colder weather camping, we are looking to insulate the front area below big front window of our class A. What does hubby need to use? I assume we remove from inside? Thanks!

did ours and no issues since.

Which dynamat product did you use?

Dynamat Xtreme Marine/RV Soundproofing. (I found the receipt) I also did my sports car in the 1/4 I think it was. Pulled the seats and carpet and cover all bare metal inside and outside of the car. Had a lot of road noise.

I call and talk to them and told them what I had and they told me what to get.

There is a product for insulating car hoods. Dense foam on one side and foil backing the other. I used this for my Itasca P32 Motorhome works great. Summit Auto used to carry it.

theres a product called arm a flex .its flat sheets of dense foam. you spray glue on the surface then press it on as needed works great and a very good sound deading product.

Our biggest heat loss was the insulation in the front cap, above the windshield. Behind the cabinets the fiberglass insulation shifted and was basically useless. I bought some two part foam insulation and sprayed a thick layer of foam insulation on the entire front cap. Problem solved. Two part foam insulation kits are available on eBay. This also works for the same issue with the rear cap.
