Working with rv repair guys re: hail damaged awning. Montana High Country 2018.
Shop said they ordered according to label. Arrived and is ****, thin not stitched, not what we have, which is high quality overlap stitched. Is standard on this model. They reordered with concern and replaced order is the same. Research on Lippert store says edges heat sealed? Have they changed the design?
Shop is now recommending Carefree as option. Sample is overlapped stitched but still doesn’t “feel” like original.
Anybody have any insight on this topic?
Thx

I put Shadepro on mine a few years back and I'm happy so far. Mine is double stitched.
Time will tell how long it lasts. Like I said, I'm happy so far.

The only long lived awining fabric I know of is Sunbrella brand. Mine are more than 20 years old and look fine.

Lippert brand and heat sealed is not talking about Sunbrella fabric which is stitched.
