Doug, those folks in DMV do their best but you are correct..... just assigning a title year is a challenge.

The brand name "Weekender" is on all four sides but so dim I'll need a ladder and better light for a picture

The three burner stove with oven is also Coleman. That Coleman furnace is what makes this a keeper. It's great. Haven't figured out the water system but there is a tank (20gal) and a 12volt pump.

Anyone else notice the caster wheels on the legs. No more backing up....just unhook and push into your CG site.

Some more dimensions....97 inches high. 90 inches wide. That rear deck/rack is 29 inches wide... imagine. Main body is 11 ft long at mid section. Overhang holds the full size mattress. If it's manufactured in 1990 I could have towed it with a gas Volkswagen pick-up with the five speed transmission. However... while I believe the 800 lbs empty weight, it would be easy to overload it. Stick a motorcycle on the rear rack and it would be too much for the old VW Rabbit.

Coleman quit making furnaces in the early 1980's. Doug

Atwood/Bowen, also stopped in early 1980's. So, I will bet your trailer is a LOT older than you think. No big deal as you know it is a rebuild. You just need to get a title/registration. REAL factory built trailers, have the VIN number stamped on the frame either up by the 5th tongue or at the front lower floor steel facing plate. But after almost 40 years may be rusted away. BUT will be stamped and not just a sticker. Doug

I'm in the foothills. Reception is marginal... Short messages have a better chance of getting out. But.. if they are offensive.... thank you all for comments. Doug I appreciate your time. In your fifty years of RV you've seen a lot of changes. This small RV seems from a bygone era. In the late 70's and early 80's everything on the road was smaller. This small fifth wheel was inovative at the time I'd guess. But the SUV and Crew cab pickup changed everything. That Scamp single axle still sold looks nice but that's a pretty big truck pulling it. Whatever this is and whatever the target market it's day is gone. However, it seems I will give it an extra life. I'm uncertain if I'll ever take it on the road but for temporary quarters it will work for me and it's too small for the county to object.
Thanks again everyone..... I took the title papers to Tennessee, my permanent residence. They might give me a clear title. Washington State is pretty fussy.
