I have a Mach 3+ AC, original to my 2012 TT, and its still running.
Its hard to complain about something that aint broke, but here I am.
I'm leaving on a 6 week trip at the end of the month to the southern US where I will be relying heavily on my AC. Am I dreaming to think it will keep running ?

Thoughts ?

Thx !

Mines a 2007, it is still going strong.
The unit on my 97 and 95 TT's both worked perfect when I sold them.

My thought is don't mend what ain't broken.

And I have always felt that old stuff was built better than new stuff.

I had a portable window AC I bought from Sears in 1974. I dragged it with me wherever I went, house after house. I even once rigged it into the window of an old TT years ago. I finally gave it away 2 years ago, still working flawlessly as it did from day 1, with zero service in 46 years.

We bought our Sea Hawk new in 2002. Still on the original AC. The trailer lives in the garage when it’s not in use. Not sure if that makes a difference.

A/C units from the 80's to today are very dependable. I suggest going up on the roof, remove the cover and wash out the condensing coils, Bugs and dirt do collect reducing air flow.
inside clean the filter inspect the evaporative coils and air exchange for good seals

You will be fine my 2012 works fine. In fact my pop up from 2000 was fine when I sold it a few years back. Probably works better then the new ones. In florida , last year it was on for a few weeks stright. Np.

My 5th wheel is a 2002. I just replaced the aging unit last January.

Our last 5er was a '04' we brought it in '10'. We fulltimed in it for 7 1/2 years. It was the original AC as the owner had been meticulous in his record keeping.
