Throw out some brand of tires y’all use on tow vehicles. I’ve got a set of good year wrangler dura trac that has 48,00 miles on them but they are very loud.

I am happy with my Falken wildpeaks A/T3W tires they are quiet and have great traction. I had the Michelin LTX A/T2 tires on my truck and I hated them. They work great if you never get off the pavement.

I'm not the only, but I've been disappointed generally speaking when I've bought Michelin! Only ones I've bought worth it from them, is an XDE M+S in a 225-70-19.5 LR G for my drive axle on Navistar.

Otherwise, as someone said, black sidewalls that are round, appropriate tread and load capacity for driving I'm doing is that vehicle

I basically have no preference for tires, beyond round and black. 🙂 But I do go with the regular highway tire, and forego the All Terrain tires. My truck is 99% used to pull the 5th wheel, and that pulling is 99% done on paved roads.

I agree. I've had good luck with the off brands. Make sure it's LT with appropriate weight rating but otherwise never had an issue. Got 30k miles on the current set of...I think the brand is Corso...shows hardly any tread wear.

If you are taking your big truck mudbogging, I might think different but big trucks suitable for towing tend to be lousy off road anyway.

The tires on a Chevy Trail Boss so not sure how they’d look BUT. They’ve been great tires tread wise just not noise wise.

Michelin from any of the "clubs" are the "best bang for the buck" ! Long wearing, quiet on the highway, good wet weather traction. Not the best in mud/dirt.

Duratrac for all intent and purposes, should be labeled traction tires.
I have a set, yes noisy.
Get some Cooper AT3, very little noise. But, if your not in snow and icy conditions, an aggressive highway tire would be a good option.

Thank you all, I think I want Highway tires over A/T just for the noise problem

I got just north of 80,500 miles on my last set of Michelins on my work truck dually.
Best tires I've ever owned have always been Michelin.

GY All Terrain Adventure with Kevlar for me. No excessive noise to me. I have beat these hard in the desert, sand etc. Very happy with longevity and performance.
