I am currently in a campground in Central NH and am in the beginning stage of having a house built. My problem is as follows. I am currently staying in a campground which closes beginning of Oct. I have a house rental here starting Nov 1st. I need to find a place for the month of Oct. It gets to cold here In Oct and I need 50’s +/- at night. I will have to head south somewhere for the month . The less distance I have to drive to get my target temperature will of course save me money on gas. I do love the coast but it is not a deal breaker. I have a 30’ travel trailer and am a seasoned camper.

Lows anywhere in the 50s F isn’t bad. Even the 40s F. Anything above freezing is easily doable IMO.

It's amazing the differences in peoples tolerance levels and what temps they get used too. To give you an example I don't go camping until the nights are in the 40's, 30's even the teens but condensation build up is not good for an RV in the teens. I love the fall weather for camping and cannot wait for it to arrive.
I am sorry I cannot help you as I live out west. Good luck with the new home it's the best alternative for getting what you want.

Each years weather is different. Last year in late October we spent several days in our daughter and son-in-laws drive way. The own 3 acres about 60 miles north of Boston. The weather was mild during the day and cool at night. You could chance a mild fall and stay local.

Not to be a smart alec, but for a month, with unknown weather conditions, how about an extended-stay hotel? Just an idea (and warm!)

Aces High Rv Park, ct open year round
Grandview Camping resort,ct I think they are open to Nov 1st. (real nice campground)
By Nov 1st we may get low's around 40 but not to often. Sometimes though much milder. Usually by Thanksgiving is when the temps do a nosedive

Think outside the box. Look for a mobile home park, an RV dealer, farmer with a spot by the barn. a construction site where you could be like a gate keeper. Other builders home or commercial that have temporary services installed
Get inventive and flexible in your search. A neighbor might have a spot

Its not an absolute, wind can change this but as a general trend you can expect the temps to be 8 to 10 degrees warmer around the base of Cape Cod as compared to southern NH. Only about a 100 mile trip for that much warmer.
