I take it one 761 page thread going back 5 years, full of the same repetitive horse poopage and arguments by a small handful of the same people over and over and over, is not enough?

For a person that doesn't even own an electric vehicle you sure seem eager to prove you know very little about them. Let me throw you a bone.
#1. The grid is short on power. Plain and simple.
#2. The US power grid is on life support.
#3. The more "things" that are added to the grid, whether that be electric appliances or electric cars the worse the grid will get.
#4. Electric vehicles use a LOT of energy. Vehicles in general use a ton of energy.....whether that be diesel, gasoline or electricity. That is the problem with electric "tow rigs"......LI batteries don't have good "energy density". Yes, I said energy density and not power density. Read the OP's article and see what they say about energy density and the problem it causes.
#5. Adding things to the grid that suck huge amounts of power like electric vehicles is going to be bad news for the already fragile power grid.
#6. The fragile grid is going to cost trillions of dollars to fix. Where is that money going to come from?
#7. An electric car uses very little energy compared to a semi. If the grid is just barley making it now just wait until everybody starts plugging big rigs in.

#8. I disagree. There are several people on this very forum that tow with their electric vehicle and there are even a few that have the Cyber Truck on order and they say they are going tow with. A few said they can wait until the Semi comes out so they can buy one and tow with it. Unfortunately they will wait for the rest of their lives if they want an over the road electric big rig with any range at all.
One things for sure. The Ford Lightning sure brought into focus how much energy density these LI batteries have at this point in time. And the answer is, not much,

Couple years ago, the mods here attempted to corral the EV dreamers and Musk nut humpers into one thread/section rather than posting new drivel every other day. It worked for....about 2 days.
We're back to full time spam by a limited group of members...

That has to be THE funniest thing I've seen in a while.
Let me count the reasons why....maybe numbering them starting from 1 and not getting past 10 so everyone can keep track regardless of how high they can actually count without having to take their socks off...
1. People who can't afford to fill their cars with high gas prices also can't calculate how far they can drive on a gallon of gas.
2. People who can't afford to fill their cars are going to be better off with EVs when those same people are driving $600 beaters because that's their budget. EVs aint free, even if you're on welfare....(Don't let that notion get out, or FREE EVs For the Indigent program might gain traction with those that are responsible for the rest of the free cheeses in this country!)
3. Is petro going to get cheaper if demand wanes? He!! no. Not for a long time anyway. The oil industry raises the prices now, if a camel farts in Saudi Arabia now. What you think will happen if they just up and lost 10% market share tomorrow?
4. Is power going to get cheaper when EVs become more prominent? See #3, but opposite for the power companies. One of the largest almost monopolies of our day are power companies. And all the subsidiary industries that build/sell charging infrastructure and devices will follow suit.
5. Not that those running out of gas will ever be able to afford an EV unless it's dead and functioning as a rolling towable homeless shelter, but do you think the govt subsidies to produce and buy EVs will continue after the agenda has been fulfilled? Eh, you may think that....I have to remember there are folks who own legit RVs and have to ask how to change a tire on them, so never underestimate the lack of intelligence of someone I suppose.
6. Last but not least, noone cares about your Spam n Eggs from New Jersey. that state smells like all the indigents removed their socks at the same time anyway.
7. Sorry, one more thing, these stats are from people who have AAA roadside coverage? LOL. Let me get this straight...One has enough traveling to do and enough $ to buy a AAA membership, but not $5 to put that extra gallon of gas in the car? This aint about the price of gas....refer to point #5.

Unfortunately, there are a few (like the one you mentioned. he really should start every post with "in my opinion...") who can't help but make this a political discussion. They know nothing else. Everything to them has a political agenda. Everything. It gets tiresome.
Beliefs do not equal facts.
Time to close this one. No one has mentioned the F150 for some time.
